March 7th, 2009kaleidoscope world

Even if I’m in Prague, the news about the death of Francis M still reached this side of the world. It’s a sad news. Listening and watching him sing “Kaleidoscope World” in the video which is one of my fave songs from this talented artist, made me want to cry… huhuhu…

So many faces, so many races
Different voices, different choices
Some are mad, while others laugh
Some live alone with no better half
Others grieve while others curse
And others mourn behind a big black hearse
Some are pure and some half-bred
Some are sober and some are wasted
Some are rich because of fate and
Some are poor with no food on their plate
Some stand out while others blend
Some are fat and stout while some are thin
Some are friends and some are foes
Some have some while some have most

Every color and every hue
Is represented by me and you
Take a slide in the slope
Take a look in the kaleidoscope
Spinnin’ round, make it twirl
In this kaleidoscope world

Some are great and some are few
Others lie while some tell the truth
Some say poems and some do sing
Others sing through their guitar strings
Some know it all while some act dumb
Let the bassline strum to the bang of the drum
Some can swim while some will sink
And some will find their minds and think
Others walk while others run
You can’t talk peace and have a gun
Some are hurt and start to cry
Don’t ask me how don’t ask me why
Some are friends and some are foes
Some have some while some have most

I’ve been saying that my kid is a hyper one. Want to see her in action? Here’s a glimpse!

The video was shot when we were dining at Jollibee, the famous Filipino fast food restaurant (for kids!) the day she turned 8 months old. She can’t sit still even for a second! When I’m tired I just can’t keep up with her high energy. She loves to move all the time!

April 19th, 2008sour!

At Gerry’s Grill - Bacolod. While waiting for our orders to be served, little C grew impatient and started to whine. I took the only “food” I found on our table and let her taste it. teehee!

March 12th, 2008our stress-reliever

… she’s also the reason why we don’t have enough sleep. blehhh! Lately she wakes up at 6 am and immediately starts her day with serious action. She’ll climb over us, crawl all over the bed, poke our faces, grab our hair and babble in her gibberish language that is so irresistible we just have to wake up! Ohhh… I end up coated with her saliva! :P

February 19th, 2008the attack of the pacbaby!

I figured Aileen’s comment on my post BLW = stained clothes would make a nice title for the video I’ll be sharing here. She said “yum yum yum…the attack of the pac baby!!!! hehehe

FYI: little C doesn’t normally eat like this. hehehe :) The way to eat banana, my little C’s style:

Btw, you know pacman right? It was a hit computer game back in the 90’s. Pacman eats ANYTHING that gets in his way thus the moniker “pacbaby” for little C.
