Having a teenage child in this age of technology can be quite expensive. One time or another your child must have asked for a playstation, or a computer; how about a mobile phone or an iPod? I wonder what techie inventions would come out after a decade that would lure my little C and ask us to buy it for her.

For an average employee with a meager salary to take home every month, it can be quite a doom. Most of the time their salary is not even enough to pay the bills, school tuition, food and transportation expenses, how much more buy expensive toys? Majority would even resort to borrowing payday loans to get by each month. Then they just have to pray hard that no one in the family gets sick coz that’s another huge expense. With the easy access of online payday loans, it has become a helpful rescue for people especially during times of tight financial crisis.

February 19th, 2008funding your education

Education is expensive, try ignorance.” – my financial guru once told us.

I’ve recently blog about choosing a college to attend to which is one important decision a student has to make. Another important consideration is the school fees. There are actually various ways how to pay for college education. Aside from applying for scholarship, students and parents resort to loans in order to pay for the educational needs. By getting a student loan consolidation, they will be able to cut their student loan payments in half thereby lessening the burden of paying. Read the rest of this entry »

Since we didn’t have lunch, my tummy was grumbling already so we ate at the food court before heading to the kid store. Eeekkk with the flock of people, it was difficult to find a vacant spot.

Some shots from the mall:

Note: Don’t shop in the malls during weekends to avoid the crowds! And be careful with shopping using your credit cards, you might get carried away. If you have a bad credit, better cut down on your expenses or better yet, stay away from the malls!

November 12th, 2007where did the money come from?

We unexpectedly received a huge sum of money last week! Well, one night M was checking online our bank account when he suddenly asked me if I transferred money from PayPal lately. I didn’t. The money wasn’t from his company either. Where did it come from then? We were puzzled.

Upon checking, he figured out that it’s the “maternity benefit” from the government plus three months worth of support for the baby since August till this month. Wow! Little C has already an allowance for her diapers and toys! :)
