So many contests are going on in the blogosphere these days! Lots of bloggers are giving out EC credits, some are giving out cash, goodies and web hosting too! I have a blogger friend who’s planning to hold a contest wherein she will give out either EC credits or free web hosting. I was excited to join her contest though I chose the EC credits so I can use it to advertise in other websites but I also wanted to win that free web hosting coz I recently bought a domain for an upcoming project. But it seems she’s busy lately; I haven’t seen her around the net for sometime now. Anyway, my project is already on and yes, I’ve got the web hosting services I needed after the long selection process.

Some friends have been asking me about my web hosting company coz they want to compare the services and packages with what their host is offering. They’re planning to create new websites and they want to know which hosting company offers the best in terms of services and prices. Though my provider isn’t the best, I can say that it fulfills most of the criteria I’m looking for a web host which unfortunately don’t seem to be good for my friends. Instead I told them to look for other hosting companies such as Networks Solutions which might provide them with their needs.

Finally my friend has her own domain! We didn’t have to look far for domain registration and blog hosting. It was just few clicks of our good friend, the mouse!

I’m glad the search for hosting company is over and that she can now start blogging. You might want to visit her and give her a welcome to the blogosphere, please do! She’s not actually new to blogging in fact she has another blog which she maintains. Anyway, her new site is named Simply Mayang.

I have been encouraging a friend to get her own domain. She has a blog hosted on a free platform and she has started monetizing it but as we’ve known, free blogs have limited features and there are advertisers that prefer their ads to be posted on free domains. She’s finally realizing that after she failed to qualify for several assignments from advertisers. It’s her turn now to keep reminding me of helping her sign up for a web hosting company for her domain name registration and hosting services.

Since I’ve been busy, I wasn’t able to help her with it. It takes time to search for cheap best hostingcompany. I remember when I was starting then, M and I had to search and compare several hosting sites to find the best in terms of price, features, speed and size. It was a big disappointment when after I had signed up, we found a much cheaper and better hosting company.

Incidentally as I was checking on my assignments online, I found Top10webhosting.com which lists down the best hosting services in the internet. Some of the host companies offer host support, mysql, frontpage and hosting plans comes with free domain name.

Stumbling on this site, is it fate telling me to finally make a move in helping my friend?

Since the death of many blogs over the internet last week, I’ve been checking the ranks of my blogS every day, more than once. Goshhhhhh! When will the massacre end? It’s happening daily! This is terror in the internet. And the victims are us, the bloggers who earn some $ from our sites.

Blog has become a popular medium that even businesses are using it to deliver services and products to their customers. When you make a search in the internet, chances are, you’ll find blogs in the search results. It’s not only individuals who are into blogging. News agencies,travel agents, insurance companies, cosmetic surgeons, designers and many others are setting up blogs for their companies.

Hehehe Anybody who can guess what I’m up to? Oh well, I just want to put these happenings into writing and I don’t care if you know what I’m talking about or not. Mourning for two deaths (of D and P) within a week is totally BADDD! But then, there were also births to celebrate. Losing was balanced with finding, so it’s not that BADDD at all. I just didn’t expect things to happen soon.

What a way to end February. But hey, it’s already March! I’ll be counting days till our most-awaited vacation date comes. Weeee! Now that’s GOODDD!

It’s 1K Tues-DAY today. I know lots of bloggers are waiting for this. I hope the captcha for the big trout would be a very difficult mathematical equation that needs heavy thinking; that way, only the genuis can grab the yummy $! Hehehehe I’m really amused with the captcha questions lately. Last time it asked me who was the first president of America, earlier it was another math equation, something like “if Jane made $100 for selling x, how much did she sell each if she sold 100 x?” Dang, kinda miss school days.
