What’s for breakfast? I had this question to my friends before and received a mix of responses – rice with viand, bread and butter, fruits, etc. Others don’t eat breakfast at all which, I tell you, is not a healthy way to lose weight. One of them answered oatmeal and coffee. Quite a combination, don’t you think so?

Oats are not just good for soothing the skin (think about oatmeal soaps or lotion), they’re a good source of fiber and helps lower bad cholesterol. And how about coffee? It’s a good source of antioxidants according to health studies.

While coffee has no slimming effects and can’t be compared to the best diet pills, some scientific studies also showed that those who drink more cups of coffee are less likely to develop diabetes. Hmmm… so my friend’s breakfast combination is actually healthy huh.
