Hello! How’s everyone? I haven’t updated my blog for almost 2 weeks already! Weeee… where have I been? My pregnancy hormones don’t give me enough zest to write and If I do (which happens very seldom), before I could even gather and form my thoughts into words, Caity or something else would distract me. Aside from that, I don’t have enough time for everything. I usually cram all the house chores in the morning because I want my afternoon to be free for resting with Caity. My online venture is badly affected. I can barely catch up with my assignments on Ferrari parts , insurance quotes, etc. I hope when my first trimester of pregnancy passes, all the discomforts and laziness I’m feeling would be all gone so I can accomplish many things especially with my online work.
Oh, and also we’re taking advantage of summer by spending our weekends outdoors, if the weather permits. In fact last week we were out for two nights at a friend’s cottage for a parteee! But that’s another story to tell.
By the way, as I am writing this, my nap partner is already asleep. I sacrificed a bit of my afternoon siesta to write this. =) But now that I’m done, I’m off to dreamland too.
After a long wait, I finally had my first appointment with the OB/GYN doctor last Tuesday. Guess what? I am really pregnant! Of course I am. I mean I am aware of my situation even before the doctor’s visit but it’s different to see the baby from the ultrasound results; a real proof that there’s life growing inside me. Anyway, I am already 11 weeks pregnant. So far everything is looking good but still they had to take blood samples (6 vials!) for some tests.
Here’s the baby at 11 weeks: Baby’s length measures 50.97mm.
And my doctor now has the 4D ultrasound which can capture the baby’s movements in a video. Cool!
Hmmm it seems we’re going to have another active baby like Caity (little C). =)
When we transferred to our new flat last February, we brought along cuttings of the umbrella plant. I’m glad to say that it thrived well and has become a healthy plant. So from it’s temporary pot (of KFC bucket), it deserved to live and flourish in a nice pot.

The pictures were taken 2 months ago. Now the umbrella plant has grown taller and bigger. it will take a few months more till it will need a bigger pot. Or I’ll just cut off the long stems. It really feels rewarding when the plants grow well under our care. It’s even more rewarding when they give us flowers or fruits.
If you have lots of money, what would you do with it? Let’s say you’ve already own all the material possessions you’ve ever wanted like houses, cars, businesses etc., and yet your pocket (and your bank) is still full of money, how will you spend it? There are several rich people who don’t even own grand houses or drive sleek and expensive cars and live modestly but they still manage to share their treasures with different charities and the less-fortunate people.
For Buffalo and Rochester personal injury lawyers Ross M. Cellino Jr. and Stephen E. Barnes, they donated $1 million to their alma mater, the University of Buffalo (College of Law). According to the dean of the Law School, Makau Mutua, its one of the largest cash gifts the department has ever received in its 122-year history. Read the rest of this entry »
The person who gave this doesn’t know me very well. I don’t drink coffee. I don’t care about coffee makers, coffee canisters or coffee except when I bake chocolate cake. But guess what? I am grateful to receive this gift coz M is a big coffee drinker. For a long time, we put his ground coffee on an empty bottle of a choco powder drink. So thanks to that angel who gave me the nice coffee canister. M’s coffee now has a decent home.
