Now that our internet is back, I can do many productive things again. M and I have been downloading like crazy! With a speed of 10Mb/s, we’re able to download lots of movies simultaneously in a short time, some taking less than an hour. Our computers are working round the clock again!

The blogging bug hit me too! I’m more encouraged to blog and update my sites regularly coz I can open multiple sites without the connection slowing down. Though my sites aren’t making money as much as they do before, having a good and stable internet means money coming in. I’m currently considering creating a new site; well actually it’s more of transferring my blog – I just have to get a domain for my other blog that’s hosted in a free platform.

Have you noticed? Having your own personal site is getting to be affordable these days. Web hosting can be availed at less than $10 per month which already includes a free domain registration. It gives you freedom to choose or create your own themes, install widgets, scripts, etc. unlike those free hosted sites which has many limits. No wonder there is a surge in the number of websites created everyday!

Here is a useful information for you who’s looking for a reliable web host. You can check out the different web hosting providers listed at the Web Hosting Geeks. They’ve made independent reviews of the best web hosts according to their space, traffic, price and other bonus features, ranking them from 1-10. Ranking first is the Inmotion with a host rating of 98%, followed by the more popular Blue Host. You can also visit their blog for the latest news about SEO, hosting and other internet/computer-related topics.

March 7th, 2009kaleidoscope world

Even if I’m in Prague, the news about the death of Francis M still reached this side of the world. It’s a sad news. Listening and watching him sing “Kaleidoscope World” in the video which is one of my fave songs from this talented artist, made me want to cry… huhuhu…

So many faces, so many races
Different voices, different choices
Some are mad, while others laugh
Some live alone with no better half
Others grieve while others curse
And others mourn behind a big black hearse
Some are pure and some half-bred
Some are sober and some are wasted
Some are rich because of fate and
Some are poor with no food on their plate
Some stand out while others blend
Some are fat and stout while some are thin
Some are friends and some are foes
Some have some while some have most

Every color and every hue
Is represented by me and you
Take a slide in the slope
Take a look in the kaleidoscope
Spinnin’ round, make it twirl
In this kaleidoscope world

Some are great and some are few
Others lie while some tell the truth
Some say poems and some do sing
Others sing through their guitar strings
Some know it all while some act dumb
Let the bassline strum to the bang of the drum
Some can swim while some will sink
And some will find their minds and think
Others walk while others run
You can’t talk peace and have a gun
Some are hurt and start to cry
Don’t ask me how don’t ask me why
Some are friends and some are foes
Some have some while some have most

March 5th, 2009internet is coming…

We’ve got good news today. Our internet will finally be set-up on Friday! Yoohoooo! If M didn’t use his connections in that Prague ISP, I don’t know if they’ll ever remember transferring our dear internet to our new flat. More than two weeks without using it and we’re still paying for it. Duh! Anyway, Friday is only two sleeps away; I already feel like an eager kid waiting to open her gifts on a Christmas Day. =) I’m sooo fed up listening (and watching) to the same Barney videos that little C is requesting to see everyday, and NIGHT too! Gotta download some new ones!
