Today is like any other week day coz the man of the house is at work; he doesn’t even know how long he will be in the office. Huhuhu… But last Saturday was pretty nice.
It was our first weekend in the new place; the main agenda was to explore our neighborhood. We took a walk to a nearby grocery store to see what they’ve got and then headed to the white hill where the kids were having FUN! That week, it has been snowing constantly leaving a few inches of snow in the ground; just enough for sledding and skiing!

“The best things in life are free“, and so the famous quote goes to which I don’t quite agree. Tomorrow it will be a week since we moved to our new home and it might take another week for our ISP to transfer our internet connection. In the meantime, I’m thankful I was able to find an unsecured wireless connection within or somewhere nearby our building which enables me to get online but … it’s definitely not the best! I’d get disconnected every few minutes; some of my friends are already complaining about my annoying online/offline status in YM. If you have YM, you’d know that it makes that ding sound whenever a friend goes online. And if I’m on your list, sorry for that! =) There are times though that I’d get lucky and have an interrupted connection which even allows me to watch movies online but not enough to inspire me to blog. I hope to see myself writing more when my internet is back to normal!
Somebody’s trying to access M’s computer!
Little C and I arrived safely in Prague last Feb. 10. Packing up for our trip back here was already a big challenge as we’ve amassed several things throughout our three-month vacation. We left Prague with only 15 kilos of baggage and came back with twice the weight! And before I can even unpack our luggage, sort our things and take a little rest from the long trip and jetlag, we were faced with another major task to do - that was packing up all of our possessions!
We only had until Saturday to do that including the transfer of our things coz that Sunday we were turning over our flat back to the owner. Ugh! What was more frustrating was that we didn’t even had a place to move in to. Searching for Prague apartments was tough! Double ugh! But we made it just on time. On Friday, we went to see a flat that I found online earlier on the wee hours of the morning. M liked it though I wasn’t that much convinced about the place and it’s location but nonetheless we decided to call it our new home. There was no time left to see the other options available anyway. On Saturday afternoon, M signed the contract and we hastily started our transfer. Whew! M had nary a sleep that night coz he was busy transporting our things to the new flat; that was more than five times of driving back and forth!.
