“Does our car need an oil wrench filter?” I overheard a conversation from a couple while waiting for our turn in the cashier. I have a hunch they were husband and wife. It’s not my business listening to other people’s conversation but they were talking loudly, so… Anyway I didn’t anymore hear what the guy’s response was coz they already paid then left the cashier.
Curious as what this tool is, I asked M. Hehehe, was he surprised why I was asking? I even asked him if our car needs one too. Nosy me! Anyway, maybe you’re curious what it is too, so in simple words, it’s basically a wrench needed to change the oil filter in the car.

Yesterday little C turned another month older. Yeyyy! She started out her day with a birthday cake treat from her aunt. Then we spent the whole day slaving in the kitchen – cooking spaghetti, beef pochero and baking empanada. After we’ve stuffed ourselves, we went out and enjoyed the rest of day in the park. Teehee!

my labor of love:

empanadas!!!
Everything was perfect, except that M wasn’t with us to celebrate little C’s special day. huhuhu
More pics to follow of our stroll in Kirjurinluoto Park…
It’s little C’s second international trip for this year. We’re off to visit my sister and her family in Northern Europe.

“Do you know where you are going baby?”
While we were claiming our baggages at Helsinki airport, my phone buzzed. I thought it was my sister but it was Dad K (Little C’s paternal grandpa) asking about our flight and how little C was during the trip.
The little girl behaved well. She actually fell asleep as soon as the plane took off and woke up when we were finally landing. At least I was able to get a nap during the (almost) 2 hour-flight.

Little C in dreamland…

Look who’s sitting on top of the luggage?

Last night while we were busy packing up our clothes and other things, stuffing them inside the luggages, little C managed to climb up on one of them. Maybe she’s afraid she’ll be left behind, it’s her way of reminding us of her presence and not to leave her behind. Bwehehhehe….

Don’t worry little C, little girls like you get a free plane ride.
Bye bye Czech Republic! We’ll be back!
Car loans are handy for persons or families who badly needs a car but don’t have enough money. Having a car can be a luxury for others but for others, it’s a necessity. It takes you to and from work, it brings your kids to school, it allows you to travel to different places, and in case of emergency, having your own vehicle can be very convenient. But I wonder if people are still lured to buy cars when the fuel prices are increasing and increasing.

When we went shopping last week, we saw a nice and cuddly dog which amused little C a lot. So we bought it for her. Little C has got a strong attraction to dogs, maybe coz it’s the first animal that she has encountered as a baby. Whenever she sees one, she’d get excited and follow every move of the dog with her curious stare.
I’m glad the pet we chose needs very little care or none at all, coz why? It’s just a stuff toy dog! But I wouldn’t be surprised at all when little C would ask us one day if she can have her own real dog. Hmmm she has to learn how to talk first.

What do we know about dogs and taking care of a dog anyway? For starters, a dog care buying guide would be of great help. The guide offers many links one needs to know about owning and growing a dog; from choosing the right dog food to dog bowls, dog housebreaking to leashes and collars, how to groom a dog to dog proofing… well, it all takes plenty of work. Maybe more work needed than taking care of a human. Little C will just have to do with her stuff dog for the meantime.

The nine-month old little girl with a big appetite is getting uncontrollable. She’s now eating whole animals, all in one sitting! Imagine the animals she ate: monkey, chicken, lion and even crocodile…. hrhrhhr. Can you beat that? I wonder who hunts those for her.

“anything else for me to eat?”

A family friend one time came to the house and told my mom of her problem. Her husband who is a chief mate of an international merchant ship would be delayed in going back to work. He was on vacation but he got sick. This has affected their finances to a point that they are now selling some of their properties.
I wonder if mortgage could be a better alternative than selling properties. It could be good maybe if they ask help from experts about these things who could advise them on financial matters. Reading the articles in Simply Finance might help them as it provides informational guides to consumers seeking financial knowledge. They also have information and news on various financial products which includes loans, mortgages and insurance.
Now that we are back here in Prague (my parents with me), we don’t have any news how they’re coping with their problem. We can only pray that the husband is now well, and that they are now out of their fix.
