I’ve been meaning to write about our thrilling and dramatic trip back to Praha but as always here I am with the same excuse, I’ve been BUSY! Okay, we left Manila on May 17 on board KLM in the morning via Amsterdam. WE were expected to arrive that evening in Praha. WE would be my dad, my mom, little C and myself. Yep, I brought my parents back with me to Europe!
Anyway our flight was delayed so we arrived in Amsterdam 30 minutes after our plane to Praha left. Waaaa! Unfortunately, it was the last flight to Praha for the day. There was no other choice for us but to stay in Amsterdam for the night courtesy of KLM. We were billeted in Van Der Valk Hotel Schiphol A4 Amsterdam, the sanctuary of airline passengers who had missed or cancelled flights! We met some Filipinos who were also on the same flight as we had from Manila to Amsterdam. We arrived in the hotel only a few minutes before they closed their restaurant. Dinner was buffet style but I was very tired to even enjoy the food.

What’s your favorite video game? Mine would be Battle City. Hehehe I enjoyed playing it with my brother when we were still young. Though video games are a big hit to kids, adults are also fond of playing it. M is one of those adults! He can stay up all night just playing with his favorite video games. Just a word of caution, it can be addicting!
There are many games to enjoy! A look at Shop Wiki’s game guide will show you the current big titles and today’s favorites and also incoming video games guide. For the newbies, there’s also a gaming guide to get them started. You can also see some video accessories guide to help you in choosing the best consoles, controllers or handheld system. Sometimes as I muse while I’m up here in my Prague “tower”, looking down on big trucks and container vans carrying all kinds of goods, I could wonder of how business is run. We are so much exposed to advertisement in the media, most especially the TV, and this is just one part. With all the competition around, how could they make it?
Then I thought of the salesmen, how innovative and persistent they present their wares to you, even when you are just taking a walk, or simply going around window shopping. The sales training they get is of prime importance. It could make or unmake a sale, the success or failure of a business. Back in the Philippines, even when you’re at home, salespeople would ring at the gate or call by phone. They have to be really persistent or else they won’t be able to many any sale.
I know a friend who’s into sales who was constantly attending sales training to better equip himself. Trainings according to him teach him more practical skills on how he can successfully drive more sales and increase his client-base. That’s the difference between mediocre and a top salesman.
Few more days to go before our trip! You bet, I will be missing a lot of things. Aside from the yummy seafood and Filipino delicacies, all sorts of fruits (especially mangoes!), the beaches, the malls, I will definitely be missing our garden! huhuhu… nope I won’t be missing my parents since they will be coming along with me to Prague, yipeee!

I got tagged by Tere before but I was too busy then that I wasn’t able to do it. This time, she tagged me twice already for two successive days! Okay, let’s do it then. The rule is simple anyway:
1. List 6 things that describe yourself today.
2. Add your blog to the list. Feel free to add all your other blogs.
3. Tag other online friends you know.
But I’ll skip the last two items there. teehee!
So how do I describe myself today?
1. SICK! Yep, we’re flying back to Praha this Saturday and here I am down with colds again. Coming here I was also sick with fever and colds just days before our trip and then now… huhuhu
2. Lazy - I have to start arranging and pack up my things yet I don’t have the energy to do it.
3. Tired - didn’t get much sleep last night coz of my colds and also because of little C. She woke up many times during the night.
4. Happy - that I’m going to see M again.
5. Sad - that my sister can’t come with us coz she didn’t submit her visa application on time. Also sad coz I’ll be leaving Pinas again.
6. Hopeful - that my parent’s visa will be released before our scheduled trip so they can fly with me and little C.
That’s it!
Last summer M and a friend drove all the way from Prague to UK through France via Eurotunnel to pick up an important equipment. The Eurotunnel is an underground train expressway linking France and UK. The travel took only less than an hour which is ideal for travelers in a hurry like my hubby and his friend. They planned to return home immediately after picking up the package. True enough, they left Friday night and were back in Prague on Sunday.

Their trip went well without any hitches. They didn’t encounter any problems passing through the borders except for the little trouble in Callais during the security check before boarding the train. The French police were suspicious of the short length of their trip so they made a thorough check on their car which quite a bit long. They didn’t find anything of course.

We only have few days to go till we leave for our Europe trip. I’ll be traveling with my loved ones so everyone at home is busy preparing. Last week they already went to the embassy to submit their visa application and hopefully this week they’ll be able to get it in time for our trip.
Anyway, it’s nice that they applied for Schengen visa. This allows them to travel around Schengen states which most parts of Europe are members of.
I plan to tour them around famous historical sights; watch an opera or ballet, visit museums and galleries and castles too, take a river cruise probably and see lots of other beautiful places around Europe.
