If our garden has been ignored, other more pressing matter is being taken cared of at home while it’s still summer. The current home improvement undertaken is the installation of window awning at the patio to protect the window especially during rainy days.
We plan to change the windows to sliding glass door and put patio furniture in the patio (where else?) where we can dine if we want to breathe fresh air or simply enjoy the outdoor atmosphere. Sooo many things to do! And with little time left before we’d fly back to Europe, it’s another project that has to be put on hold again. Till when? I really don’t know.
Continuation of ‘a great buddy for any trip.’ Let’s assume that you’re convinced of the Cadillac SRX as a good vehicle to buy for your family especially if you’re always on the go, but you might say that you can’t afford to buy a new one. Well, cheer up coz there are Used Cadillacs Harrisburg PA that you can own instead.
Still at Sutliff Auto Group, you can choose a wide range of Cadillac models. The Sutliff family has been dealers of Chevrolet, Saturn and was chosen to be among a select group of GM dealers for the HUMMER franchise. This time, they’re proud to add Cadillac in their auto choices. If you’re within the place, it’s worth checking out. Read the rest of this entry »
Road trip with family is fun! The past weeks we were always on the road going places especially to beach resorts. The ironic thing is that we live only 10 meters or so near the sea yet we choose to travel to far away resorts. Being on the road takes up lots of our precious time but that’s part of the fun. One time we spent like 8 hours on the road just to venture into the white sand beach resort that’s popular in our province. It’s okay if the road is well-paved but sadly the one we drove through has lots of holes giving us a bumpy ride. Read the rest of this entry »
One of the things I looked forward in my short stay in P.I. was to tackle the plants in our garden. They’re all screaming to be arranged, landscaped, transferred to pots, replanted, trimmed, etc. It seems they have to stay the way they are coz I’ve been too busy. I guess one can’t really expect to have a relaxing vacation when you have a little creature to take care of and loads of other important things to do.
So here’s the sorry state of our plants under the windows.
Apart from eating, little C’s favorite hobby is playing. Any kid loves it of course. We made several play areas for her inside the house so she can play where ever we are; in the living room if everyone is watching TV or just sharing conversations, in my sister’s bedroom (she borrows little C most of the time), and also in our room. But her main camp is in the living room. It looks like a fortress with the cushion pillows lying all around her just in case she falls. At least she won’t hurt her head.
Being the youngest in the brood of five, I grew up influenced by my sibling’s musical taste. Our eldest brother was a band member, playing the bass guitar. They would play the music of The Police in their gigs and concerts and in his room hangs posters of his favorite bands; one of these is The Police. So at a young age I was already familiar with The Police’ hits such as King of Pain, Roxanne, Every Little Thing She Does is Magic, Don’t Stand So Close, De Do Do Do, De Da Da Da and with Every Breath You Take being one of my favorites. At Gerry’s Grill - Bacolod. While waiting for our orders to be served, little C grew impatient and started to whine. I took the only “food” I found on our table and let her taste it. teehee!
I often receive email notice from our local airlines whenever they have promotional offers. A lot of my friends have taken advantage of their cheap airfares to travel to the different cities within the countries. I can only envy them coz I can’t avail of those promos. But for those looking for cheap holidays especially during vacation breaks, these airfare promos can truly give big savings. Read the rest of this entry »
