March 10th, 2008blessed and grateful :)

Teehee! That post below was written when I was angsty, but hey it lasted only for an hour. After I wrote that piece, little C and I took a nap. When M came back, we all went out for a walk even if it was almost 6pm. Our first stop was the small grocery store beside our flat where we bought some munchies for us to nibble while walking then off we headed to the grassy clearing behind the store.

All is well now. And yes despite the little inconveniences we’re experiencing once in a while, we’re still SO BLESSED! Thank you Lord! :)

March 9th, 2008in a sour mood :P

I want to rantttttt.. I’m so looking forward to weekends. You see, weekends are the only time that I can rest or at least have time for myself or someone to share with work at home; cleaning and taking care of baby. With M coming home every night at past 7 from work, you can imagine how stressed I am by then. It’s a lot of work taking care of a 6-month baby who’s very active and running a household at the same time.

So weekend is here but M has two computers to assemble. That means he can’t fully take care of the kid. And the worst thing is the living room is in chaos with the many boxes scattered around, it looks like a maze! If that’s not enough, he hurriedly went out to do some errands. I’m going crazy! And tomorrow is another week which I have to face all by myself again unless of course he comes home early. Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr… I just wish the 22nd is TODAY already!

Oh yeah, I had insomnia attack last night so I’m very sleepy. HELP!

————-
But you know what, it’s not just me who’s complaining. M wants to rest as much as I do. I know he’s tired as well but with so many responsibilities thrown at him from work to family, he doesn’t have enough time to relax . He actually told me earlier that he’s excited that our vacation is drawing near.
————-
If you had a good sleep last night (or every night), if you have families (or househelp) helping you with houseworks and kids, if you have quality time spent with your loved ones, you should be very grateful for those blessings. It’s something that we lack lately.

Bunnies everywhere! Since March started, the department stores were already displaying and selling Easter bunny items. Lots of chocolate bunnies that are so tempting! If I were a 6 year old kid, I’d secretly stash a bunch inside the cart while mommy isn’t looking. teehee!

For those planning to hold an Easter party and would love to give out tiny tokens to your guests, then you might like these personalized candy bars from Candy Undercover. Look at their Easter chocolate bar favors:

Aren’t they cute? Even adults will find it irresistible and yummy to eat too! You can find other personalized candy bars for various occasions at Candy Undercover. Weddings, bridal showers, birthday parties, baby showers, the list goes on… Why don’t you take a peek at their products?

Popular attractions of the city includes its beautiful beaches, spa and sport fishing. Even famous celebrities such as Jennifer Anniston and Jessica Alba have vacationed in Cabo.

Add this beach destination in your travel list! You’ll have many wonderful discoveries while vacationing in Cabo San Lucas. And don’t forget to visit Rock Star Rentals for your Cabo San Lucas accommodations. Who knows, you might run into Jessica Alba when you’re there.

March 8th, 2008screen burns away!

We have a 30 inch computer monitor at home! M even took a pic of little C with the monitor in the background. It’s huge! It’s great for watching high-definition videos! But you know what, it’s not ours. Hehe It came with the two computers M is assembling this weekend. He said it costs about $1700 USD; that’s lot of money spent for a monitor huh! But they’ll be using it for ACAD works.

It’s a pity if such an expensive monitor will only get screen burns in the future. As much as possible they would want to use them for long time so it’s worth the money they paid for it. It can actually be avoided. There’s a PixelProtector DVD sold in the internet that can protect the monitors and TV from screen burns. Aside from the screen burn removal and stuck pixel repair kits, PixelProtector comes with 3 fantastic screen savers, plasma tools and lcd setup tools! Who knows when it will get screen burn but it’s better to be safe than sorry. I’m sure nobody would want that to happen to their monitors.

March 7th, 2008paranoid, kinda

Since the death of many blogs over the internet last week, I’ve been checking the ranks of my blogS every day, more than once. Goshhhhhh! When will the massacre end? It’s happening daily! This is terror in the internet. And the victims are us, the bloggers who earn some $ from our sites.

I can’t imagine life without internet anymore. Sure I might be able to do away with it for days or weeks but not for too long. It has become a part of my routine already. It’s my way of communicating with family and friends, my source of information and even my source of income.

It doesn’t have to be just a regular internet connection that’s slow and bugs down. I want an internet connection and I want it fast. Not only that, I want to have it forever! Hah! If you’re like me who wants to have a high speed internet connection for life, then keep on reading.

March 6th, 2008move over Bill

I was watching CNN with little C when this news came. The Forbes list of the world’s richest is out and it isn’t Bill gates on the top anymore but Warren Buffett. Interestingly enough, this guy Buffett is a philantrophist who plans to give away 83% of his wealth to Bill Gates’ foundation. And despite his great wealth, he still lives in the same house for the last 50 years and is known for his frugality. Amazing! Hats off to you Mr. Buffett! May your tribe increase!

*Microsoft tycoon Bill is down to number 3.
