Little C turned 7 months old while we having a grand time in Punta Bulata Beach Resort. It was purely coincidental; it only dawned on me when we were already in the resort.
She had her first taste of the blue sea water and the white sand (literally!) after 7 months of being holed up in Prague’s chilly weather. While we were in the sea, she’d hit the water with her hands and lick on the splashing water. And while she was on the shore, she grabbed a fistful of sand and licked it off from her hand. I’m sure if the sun was within her reach and could be touched, she’d also try to taste it.

It was an extra memorable day coz we arrived the Philippines on Easter Sunday and celebrated it with a sumptuous welcome dinner (sea foods galore!) with the family. Despite the lack of sleep and one very tiring and long trip, the food managed to perk me up for an hour. Yum!

I’m glad that the weather in Prague isn’t something to be missed about. It’s cold, gloomy and wet. Would you believe there were tiny flakes of snow falling earlier? It makes leaving all the more easy. And my favorite spring isn’t showing herself yet.

You might not have noticed that I’ve been sick coz I was still posting here (got some very important deadlines to beat!), but I was. Saturday and Sunday were the worst.
On Saturday night about 6, after eating tuna salad, I went to bed for a short nap. A little after that I started to feel cold. I covered myself with blanket but it didn’t help. Got another blanket, still the same. I was shivering. I felt all queasy. I felt the urge to vomit, so I did. I felt a bit better but still felt cold. I wore more clothing and hid under two heavy comforters and fell into a deep sleep. When I woke up, I was soaking wet! Where am I? In an oven? It was hot! So that was my therapy for the following days; sweating it out!
By Sunday, I was still weak, had a fever with a temperature of 39.5C, barking like a mad dog, had a hoarse voice and a throat that’s awfully painful.
