My fave chat mate isn’t back to online life yet. They are still in Manila because they are busy finalizing the papers and furnishing the condo unit; installing the aircon, drilling holes for paintings and bars, fixing the bathroom (I heard it was leaking, probably the pipe) and every tiny detail has to be set in proper order before they can leave. Then the unit will be up for sale.

Their initial plan was to lease the unit but they realized that the furniture and appliances inside are at risk of being damaged by tenants who have less regards for other people’s property. Somebody advised them that buyers are interested more in buying fully-furnished unit rather then the bare unit which still needs finishing and furnishing. Buyers usually don’t want to hassle themselves with the installation of cabinets, aircon, counters and other fixtures that’s why the demand for fully furnished condo units are high.

Anyway, their week was packed with scouting around and shopping for house furniture and bathroom fixtures. Work would have been easy for them if they looked online for shops that sell those products. I saw heavy duty brands for bathtubs, sinks, faucets and the likes at the Designer Plumbing Outlet which is an online store owned and operated by a Master Plumber.
The store sells top quality brands such as devonshire faucets and aberdeen faucets; they also have moen showhouse. Using such brands would guarantee them of less damage risk. But then it’s such a waste using top brands and then leave it for the tenants to abuse. For me, selling the condo is a good decision.

If you want to invest in real property, condo is the hot investment these days. And as they advised, buy pre-sold units, furnish it with quality appliances, furniture and fixtures and sell for higher price. It will surely attract many buyers.
