Little C has graduated from her kiddie songs Old MacDonald Had a Farm and Eensy Weensy Spider to some light rock music. Guess what she’s listening to? I heard the song went like this “smoke on the water….” hahaha I didn’t know M has this kind of music. Well, little C seemed to enjoy it, just look at smile on her face.
5 more days to go till Christmas and we haven’t shopped yet for gifts! I don’t know what to give M. But earlier he sort of hinted that he needs a new mobile phone.
I started it anyway. I was writing about free ringtones and asked him if I can upload some dance ringtones or hiphop ringtones to my phone. Unfortunately I can’t! That’s how old my phone is! Then he showed me a link to Nokia’s new models and asked me if I wanted a new phone. It turned out he was the one who wanted a new one!
Well then, I won’t have to worry what gift to him then… if that’s what he wants, then he’ll have it! Now what about me?

16th of December – start of the Misa de Gallo, the early dawn Mass for 9 consecutive days prior to Christmas. Also the 3rd Sunday of Advent and it’s M‘s birthday too! Definitely not an easy date to forget.
Well, we had lunch at McDonald’s after the Mass. We both didn’t have breakfast because we woke up late, thanks to little C who kept us up many times during the night with her cries. So after the Mass, M and I were very hungry; we hurriedly scurried out looking for food. Fast food! We needed to fill in our tummies fast, so we ended at McDo. Grilled beef burger, fried criss-crossed-potatoes and choco drink…burp; that solved our hunger.
Unfortunately we didn’t have a special dinner out in a fancy restaurant as I would have wanted his birthday to be celebrated. M’s mother whom I thought could watch over little C while M and I escape for a quiet dinner had already made plans for today. Ach!

This time it’s from Lazarus. I’ve been getting tagged one after another lately. This is the second meme I’m doing for this month, there are two more waiting.
What I like about this tag is that it asks me to write down ten things I’m thankful for which is timely coz it will be the end of the year soon. So it will be a summary of the blessings I’ve received for this year.
1. Little C – wow! It’s amazing how we’re blessed to be parents to such a beautiful baby. I thank God that she’s healthy and growing to be a smart little girl. Playing with her is a great form of entertainment.
2. M, my husband for his love and never-ending patience especially since my pregnancy up till now helping me take care of our little but demanding baby, running errands, doing household chores, for being my driver without any complaints; driving me to attend parties, doctor’s appointment or where ever I need to be! For making marriage a fun relationship to be in.
3. For my family for their prayers and advices. And for a lot of things they’ve done for me and in my behalf while I’m away especially my parents and Cy and for keeping me company through YM. Teehee! At least I don’t get too homesick.
4. Our own flat – we’re just renting it but thank God we’ve found this place for the right price. It’s accessible to shops, bus stop, restaurants, mall, hospital and we’ve got a grand view of Prague from our balcony. It also has a little garden which is good for me coz I like plants.
4 listed down, 6 more to go in my next post!
Browsing about New Zealand has roused my interest in this country. As a nature lover, I was drawn to its captivating landscapes of glaciers, snow-covered mountains and forests. Just look at the picture below:

Traveling is an exciting experience. You get to discover new places, culture, people and a whole lot of amazing memories are made.
But as much as you would like to travel around the world, the cost of airfare and accommodations can sometimes make it a little difficult to go anywhere we want. At least that’s true for me. But thanks for last minute flights and last minute hotels, one can travel in a less expensive way. Read the rest of this entry »
M and my dad are total opposite when it comes to car-maintenance. My dad would always clean our van especially after it has been used in dusty and muddy places. He vacuums the inside, wipes the dashboard, washes the exterior and tires and makes sure it’s shiny enough for flies to slip if they’d ever perch on it.
Whereas M, he doesn’t mind that our car is all so dusty, inside and out! Especially that we don’t have a carport or garage here, the car is exposed to all kinds of dirt and weather changes. That’s also one reason why he doesn’t like to keep it clean, coz the next day, he’s sure to find some pigeons poop on it. Yesterday I complained that it really needs to be cleaned. He promised he will have it cleaned this week, thank God! Read the rest of this entry »
