December 28th, 2007the difference is…
Have you ever wondered what’s the difference between Medicaid and Medicare? You’ve probably been hearing these terms but don’t actually know the difference. I myself honestly don’t know about it. I am only familiar with health care. Teehee!
Anyway, just a short differentiation according to Assist Guide Information Services (AGIS), Medicare is federal health insurance for people ages 65 or older and for younger people with certain disabilities and illnesses; whereas Medicaid is government assistance program that serves financially needy people regardless of age. You can read more information on these two US government programs at AGIS’ website coz they’ve got articles for Medicaid and Medicare help.
You can bookmark the site as your Medicaid and Medicare resources. Other links on caregiving situations, finding facilities and services and expert guidance can be found on the site.
