December 5th, 2007anti-debt campaign for Christmas shoppers
During this season of Christmas shopping and spending, it’s nice to know that the Czech government cares for its citizens and warns them against over-spending and resorting to loans. As a reminder to Czechs, they are giving anti-debt themed pocket calenders and posted posters near shopping malls appealing to the public to be practical in their spending for gifts. There are also ad campaigns in newspapers and screens on the subway platforms hoping that the public will follow their advice.
