Little C has a habit of brushing her tiny hands over her face when she rouses from sleep. With her long nails, she scratches her face in the process. I myself have been a victim of her nails and it’s painful! Time to cut them!
Right now she is asleep on my lap. I held her little fingers wanting to cut her nails but she stirs everytime the naircutter makes the cutting sound. The thought that I might have mistakenly cut her soft skin scares me! Weee! I stopped. You want to help?
I think so and Leen of Simple Pleasures think so too! That’s why she tagged me or awarded me with this Passionate Blogger’s badge.
I’ve been blogging since early last year and nothing can stop me! In fact I have already 5… nope 6 blogs scattered all over the web!
What started as simple attempt to record my kitchen adventures became a serious hobby. Blogging has been my trusted pal; it’s an effective way to put my brain into good use, fight boredom and nostalgia, meet new friends, document my moods, experiences and whatnot.

What’s it about?
- it is a badge you give yourself, to honor your passionate self. and you can invite people to do the same.
- the passionate blogger’s badge aims to spread the word, to inspire people to blog only out of passion.
- if you believe or you are already living the passionate blogger’s CREED, put the badge on your site’s sidebar or homepage.
don’t forget to leave a message at the passionate blogger’s site with your name and
site address so they could link you up.
It’s amazing how our little C is growing. In a span of two weeks since her last check-up she gained weight and increased her body length. It’s no surprise anyway coz we know how much and how often our baby feeds on my milk. By looking at her, you can see that her cheeks are chubbier; her arms and legs are more plump.
Here’s a comparison of her 1st and 2nd check-up:
Weight:
1st = 4.06 kls./ 2nd = 4.51 kls.
Length:
1st = 51 cm./ 2nd = 52.5 cm.
Head’s diameter:
1st = 38 cm./ 2nd = 39 cm.
You read it right! I’m so blessed! The old laptop I’m using is still efficient and working fine but who can refuse a new laptop especially when it’s given as a special gift? So I gladly accepted it with arms open wide.
The momentous date I received my gift was August 27. Unlike other laptops, mine didn’t come with an instructional manual. But with little help and advice from the experts I managed to make it function. Every day I discover interesting features that either tickles me or (almost) throws my sanity out of the window. I carry it most of the time with me, anytime, anywhere - at work, in bed, in the kitchen, living room and even out of the house. Thank God it’s portable! But 4+ kilos heavy!
I’m so engrossed with this new “gadget” that I haven’t slept well during evenings since I got it. And oh, it’s one power-hungry thing this laptop of mine. It needs to be recharged every 2 hours or so.
Come and take a look at my new toy! Read the rest of this entry »
Shopping these days is a challenge with little C with us. We always have to hurry in case she wakes up and cries loudly in the middle of our shopping spree demanding for milk or whatever. Ugh!
But you know what? The day we got out of the hospital after my delivery (baby was still a week old and I was still in pain from the surgery), we brought her with us to the grocery store to shop for our food supplies. Unfortunately hubby didn’t have a coin for the shopping cart so we had to use the basket. He had to carry little C in one arm and the shopping basket in another hand. I wish we had the shopping cart, it would have been easy. It was a great relief that we were able to get through with that.
Shopping carts be it in real life or online provides shoppers the ease and convenience in shopping. Compared to shopping in real though, virtual shopping is more convenient. You can do it anytime and anywhere as long as you have the internet and your credit card. It saves time, effort and gas! And when you’re in luck, merchants sometimes provide free delivery.
