Hey all! it’s almost 12mn but let me write a quick post.

Little C will be a month old tomorrow. She had her first appointment with the pediatrician only TODAY! Don’t be alarmed why only now. Lots of paper works have to be done before she can get an insurance which she’ll need with the doctor.

Anyway everything is fine with her. She gained 1 kilo since birth; other details I already forgot coz it was M who brought her to the doctor. Ha! My mom was sooo surprised and a bit amused! “What? You let M go to the doctor alone on your baby’s first check-up?”

Well, I didn’t have a proper sleep last night and I thought I’d take a short break while M and little C is out. Only the short break was too SHORT. I was only able to take a shower with that SHORT time.

Having a GPS installed in vehicles is good for monitoring its whereabouts especially if the one driving it is your teenaged child. At their age, they love to drive fast and sometimes they can be reckless. When the inevitable accident happens, a GPS allows you to communicate with the driver and track the vehicle from a computer with internet access and browser. It will show real-time GPS location updates and satellite photos of vehicle.

It’s Sunday! We managed to arrive at the church a few minutes after the Mass started. Little C as usual fell asleep during the drive going to church. And fortunately for us, she was asleep all throughout the Mass.

After the Mass, we went with M to his soccer game. We just stayed in the car though because it was drizzling a bit. Since I’m not used to breastfeeding in public, I was very discreet not to be seen especially in a place where guys were aplenty! But my little C was smart and modest enough to “hide” me.

Aug. 23 - my Praha girlfriends hosted a baby shower for who else but for ME! I thought by that time I would have delivered my baby but she decided not to come out yet, so on with the parteee!

Despite Enday and Floe’s absence, we managed to have fun! Thanks to Marielle for her P.I. vacation stories and Grasya’s humor, I really had a good laugh. The food was prepared by Marielle. Aside from the usual Filipino fare, she also baked the delish blueberry muffins and brownies. From a self-proclaimed ignoramus when it comes to kitchen, she has made a tremendous development in that area. She can now don the title “Domestic Goddess” with pride!

It’s all done! I thought it would be painful but nahhhh, nothing but a little pull and the string was out! The doctor cut both ends with scissors, pulled one end and that was it.
